The sign of a true Mexican food connoisseur, is how well they can make Pico de Gallo or Pico de Gallo: Fresh Tomato Salsa. Here’s my version!
Ingredients:
- 1 large whole fresh tomato
- 1 jalapeno pepper (take out seeds)
- 1 shaft green onion (chopped finely)
- 1 garlic clove (diced up)
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice or lime juice
- Salt & Pepper to taste
How to make it:
- Combine all ingredients and mix well. This recipe is best made one day before you serve it, so the flavors enhance. (It also goes well with Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas)
